Autumn Flowers for Tori’s Bottle

Well, with this post I will share one of the projects I did during the holidays. Between enjoying time with the family and friends and what seemed like an endless supply of good food, I did some crafting.

+Tori asked me to make some flowers for a bottle she had covered with yarn. She is so creative with everything she does for her home and family. She has also been incredibly supportive with my crafting since day one. I was happy that I could do something for her.

Here it is:

She wanted something for her house that would match her decor. She has mostly browns and it just made me think of fall. I got a dark brown ribbon to go around the bottle a few times. I added a butterfly and a dragonfly made out of clay, just because.

The flowers were handmade. I had to mix a few colors of distress ink to get the right tone of orange. I added some bling to the middle to just make it sparkle. Then I went through my stash and I found a Tim Holtz key that says “Love”. If there is something that characterizes +Tori’s home is Love, I found it fitting.

I hope she likes it and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do something nice for her.

Thank you for visiting!
